Nature and human

18. February 2021

No, it shouldn’t be a nice image, neither it may looks like that. My friend Peter Veres told me, that I can use the potencial of followers on social media to show not just the beauty of the nature, but also the other side of the human acitivity within. I decided to start with this image. Why?
Just because it’s captured directly from the Low Tatras mountains region. And honestly, each hiker in Slovakia knows the situation in national parks. A lot of cut out woods, trampled roads by forest machines and many other. In Slovakia, about 10 of millions trees are cuted per year. 1,3 of them directly from national parks and up to the 15 thousands from reservations of the highest protection and about 20% of whole numbers are exported abroad. The world loses more than 7,000 square meters of tree cover per second.
Within these numbers I start thinking that the nature is mostly hurted by ourselves. And this is the reason why I mentioned nature first in the name of the image.
