Spring in Poloniny Dark Sky Park and magnificent Milky Way core over the flowery wild cherry tree shows the sovereignty of our natural heritage and the connection of nature and the universe. The photo also shows that darkness can be truly beautiful and it is very important to protect it for future generations. Just imagine that you would experience similar scenery normally from the city. Unimaginable today, but a few generations ago, literally a reality. In Slovakia, we are lucky to still find dark places here, but if we do not have responsibly, it may happen that the next generation will know our Galaxy only from archival photographs.
