Mario and halo

In December 2020, just one day before the unsuccessful total solar eclipse, the Sun and clouds made this beautiful show. Scattered sunlight on the clouds create well-known atmospheric phenomena called Solar halo. In this case, the 22° circle around the Sun. So, the same show can occur around the Moon during the night. Have You ever see that?

In the photo, my friend Mario is taking pictures and enjoying perfect weather during December, which is so unusual for Northerners. Just a day before the eclipse, conditions were really perfect. Even the day after eclipse. So, there’s another fact, that we can’t beat the nature, indeed.
