Big Dipper over Roques de Garcia

18. September 2023

Even simple photographs can be very beautiful. More important than overprocessing the images is to be in the right place at the right time. And keep our eyes open, for sure. I had this beautiful and iconic view of the well-known asterism Big Dipper, part of the Ursa Major constellation above the magnificent rock formations called Roques de Garcia in the Teide National Park in Tenerife. It deserved to take a picture, in this case, it’s a single shot only. In the right side of the background, the volcano Teide itself extends to the skies with a high of 3.715 meters.
