With the coming of the 2021 NLC season, I remember the great July night from 2020. Early morning’s noctilucent clouds appeared above the historical center of the city Levoca in East Slovakia. The beautiful ribbed structure of mesospheric clouds specialized the spectacular “electric blue” color of the sky. In the foreground, other interesting objects of the city included in the World Heritage List UNESCO are displayed in the dark of night. We can notice the famous St. Jacob’s basilica in Levoca, central Townhall, Gymnasium Church, the top of the Evangelic church, and other well-known historical buildings.
