Spis castle and SuperMoon

Moon setting over the ruins of Spiš castle, Slovakia 1.000mm focal length

Just the day after the Moon’s closest position to the Earth in 2021 and total lunar eclipse over Oceania, I went to photograph the Moon setting over the old ruins, even surrounded by the belt of Venus – the atmospheric phenomena. The ruins of Spiš castle from the 12th century are located in Eastern Slovakia and it makes a unique dominant of the Spis region. With a precise choice of the exact location, the Moon set just above the castle tower distanced 3.96km away. In this photo series, You can see a behavior of the sky – a very strong Venus belt in a wider field photograph, and then the remnant of itself in detailed images taken just during sunrise.
